Truths & A Lie (But They're Actually *All True*!)
1. When I was <10 years old, I got lost by myself on Marist College's campus and became
accidentally locked in an empty building by myself. I was trying to find my lunchbox.
2. I served tea in my bathrobe to a 10x Grammy Winning bass player without knowing who he was (Roy Wooten).
3. When I was a young boy, I was fortunate enough to have first baseline tickets to a
Yankees game. During warms up, I stood on my seat, fell, and started to cry. Shane
Spencer was playing catch nearby at the time and saw me. He gave me his ball to cheer me up. Mariano Rivera signed it later.
4. I once accidentally caused a car accident; I was ca. 10 yrs old and my dad had me
working in a CAT Excavator on a hill overlooking a road. Someone driving by got into a fender bender because the sit of a child in the machine distracted them.
5. I almost didn't graduate high school because I missed too many gym classes. The last
week of senior year, the gym teachers decided I could graduate if spent 8hrs walking the track one Saturday. I did so, and the gym teachers let me smoke while I did.
6. I applied to three colleges straight out of high school: SUNY Binghamton, Cortland, and New Paltz. I was rejected to all of them.
7. A philosopher once told me that I'd never publish (they mistook me for someone else).
Hidden Talents
1. I took piano lessons for >15 years. I've done fairly well at some NYSSMA competitions.
2. I was once the #1 North American player of Team Fortress 2 on Playstation 3 (as the
"Pyro" character).
Some Hobbies
1. I am a big fan of both Magic: The Gathering and video games (console).
2. I collect all manner of things (coins, trading cards, comic books, etc.)
3. I'm an avid Lord of the Rings fan.
4. I enjoy reading non-fiction. I'm big on J.D. Salinger in general. Lately I'm into Thomas Pynchon and Raymond Carver.
